Today is the first day back at Hopestill College after winter break. Welcome back!
The Persona-users move into their new dormitory, where they meet the Velvet Room denizens in the real world for the first time, as well as each other. This is the first confirmation they've had that their strange dreams throughout the break were actually real. All of this proves to be a bit much for Montgomery Gottbolt, who becomes overwhelmed and faints in the dormitory lobby. Luckily, they're caught by Soma Uchiyama! Meanwhile, Dorothy Mintz is the first to meet Ipo...by almost sitting on them. Sorry little buddy! Hopefully, they won't hold a grudge.

⭐ Now that everyone has had a day to get settled, the denizens invite them to the Velvet Room for some 'bonding'. Nobody knows quite what to expect, but it should be fun, right?

Following a request from the denizens, everyone meets in the Velvet Room again to start combat training. Before training begins, Percival announces that they will be entering the Shadow World in squads and that each squad will have one leader, one second, and one Support to guide them. He also tells them that the squads and assignments are the result of complex tarot readings performed by him and the other denizens, so he won't be listening to any complaints. Like it or not, this is fate.
The outcomes are a shock to some, particularly [Character D] who is clearly feeling some sort of way that they weren't chosen as a leader. Phyllida notices this and hands them a camassia; this might not change their mood much, but at least it's pretty.

Winter break ending doesn't mean winter has ended! Snow falls in Hopestill all day starting from the early morning. While classes aren't cancelled, Dael Heyst and Ramona Little skip to go sledding on the hill! Nobody really teaches during the first week anyway, right?

🗡️ It's Field Day! Training is part of day-to-day life now, but it doesn't always have to be a serious affair. The denizens have arranged for the squads to compete against each other in a variety of exercises designed to challenge their abilities and their teamwork. The squad that impresses the denizens the most will get a prize and some bragging rights.

Baseball Tryouts! Baseball is a big deal at Hopestill College, so get out on the field and show Coach Goodwin what you've got. Students with athletic scholarships are exempt from tryouts and automatically have a place on the team, but they're still encouraged to show up and support their future teammates.
While Gracelynn Zalinsky isn't trying out, they do show up to cheer on their classmates and end up having a dance battle with the school mascot. Rocky the Raven doesn't go easy on them, though! Who won this fierce competition is up for debate.

Alicia Milburn notices that Ms. Cha, one of the librarians, is acting strangely. She seems distracted and stressed by something that she's unwilling to discuss and departs quite abruptly when they try to speak with her about it. One of the assistant librarians is apologetic on her behalf and reassures Alicia that it's not them and Ms. Cha has been like that for a couple of days.
